The Best of Affluent Oahu postcard is like a “mini billboard.” Make
sure to capture the reader’s attention immediately.
Front and back will be 4-color.
Please design accordingly.

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
Page Layout: Adobe InDesign CS1 or CS2 packed with links and
fonts
Vector files: Illustrator or Freehand, fonts outlined
Photos or rasterized art: 300dpi tiff or jpg
PDF: 300 dpi only, all fonts embedded
Note about Web Art: Please do not send art
created for the web. The result is fuzzy and "pixelated" because
the resolution is too low for print. If sending logos, please
make every effort to provide vector art for the absolute best
results. If vector is not available, make sure what is provided
is no less than 300 dpi.
DIGITAL FILE REQUIREMENTS
• Four-color or grayscale images should be scanned hi-resolution at 350
dpi. (No images from websites)
• Scanned line art (1-bit color) should be a minimum of 800 dpi.
• Graphics and all specified colors should be 4-color process (CMYK) and
in tif/eps format with no compression.
• Include all linked images on disk as well as fonts. If imported graphics
from Adobe Illustrator or Freehand contain fonts, please convert those fonts
to outlines or paths.
FONTS
Use Macintosh Fonts. Please, no Multiple Master Fonts. All fonts (printer and
screen fonts) must be included in the fonts folder. Any missing fonts may be
substituted for "like" fonts and may not meet your design expectations.

SUPPORT DOCUMENTS
Include a black & white laser print and a high quality color proof
of your card layout.
*Stock photos and scans not included. The Best of Bend reserves rights
on in-house photography
